    General Psychologist

    Dan Russell is a registered psychologist with a strong clinical background and a focus on mental health, particularly in older populations and individuals with sleep issues. He is currently completing his PhD at Murdoch University, researching sleep care for individuals with mental health conditions.

    Dan provides therapy using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. He has experience working with clients facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, grief, and borderline personality disorder. His therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based interventions to promote well-being and mental health, with a particular focus on sleep management.

    Dan is also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), enabling him to effectively address complex cases involving both mental and physical health concerns.

    He is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly engages in training and collaborative work with other healthcare professionals.
